CHATTAHOOCHEE, Fla. (AP) -- A Gadsden County high school student died from injuries sustained in a bus crash.

The sheriff's office reports that De'Sherrime Murray died Tuesday evening, a day after a school bus she was riding in crashed in Chattahoochee, close to the Georgia border.

The Florida Highway Patrol reports that 41 students from West Gadsden High School were on the bus when the driver lost control. The driver and two students were airlifted in critical condition to a Tallahassee hospital, and several other students were taken by ambulance. Other students were taken to a Chattahoochee hospital.

No other vehicles were involved, and it's not clear what caused the crash.
