ST. PETERSBURG, Florida (AP) -- The elusive monkey has been spotted again in the Tampa Bay area.
Renee Barth says she saw a monkey swinging from a tree Sunday and falling into her pool. Barth says the monkey took off with some grapefruits from her backyard in a St. Petersburg neighborhood.

Wildlife officials have asked the public to stay away from the rhesus macaque monkey that has eluded capture in the area for about a year. The rogue monkey again escaped from wildlife officials earlier this month, after a neighborhood in St. Petersburg became a bit of a circus when a sighting was reported.
Authorities don't know where the animal came from, but some theories include a troupe of wild monkeys in an Ocala-area state park or an unpermited owner.
