St. Petersburg, Florida - St. Petersburg Fire Rescue crews say they have become very familiar with the car of Sharonda Kegler.

On Thursday afternoon, crews were called out to the intersection at 31st St. S. and 26th Ave. S. to extinguish an engine fire from Kegler's 1995 Chevy Suburban for the second time in two weeks.

Lieutenant Rob Neuberger said fire crews put out another engine fire from the same car on July 14th.

Kegler, 33, said she recently got her car back from the mechanic after having carburetor trouble.  In both instances, no one was injured, nor inside the car when it burst into flames.
