Lawrence, KS (Sports Network) - Kansas junior forward Thomas Robinson has
decided to skip his senior season to enter the NBA Draft.
Robinson averaged team highs of 17.7 points and 11.9 rebounds in 39 games this
past season, leading the Jayhawks to the national championship game. He scored
18 points and grabbed 17 rebounds in Kansas' loss to Kentucky in the NCAA
final last Monday.
The 6-foot-10 native of Washington, DC will likely be a lottery pick in the
draft. He's the ninth Kansas player to leave school early in the last six
years.
As a sophomore, Robinson was Kansas' most productive player off the bench. He
averaged 7.6 points and 6.4 rebounds in 33 games, all but two in a reserve
role.
