Cleveland, OH - When a Cleveland school bus driver saw the silver jeep driven by 32 year old Shena Hardin approach his stopped school bus with red lights flashing, he knew what she would do.
Hardin goes around the stopped bus up on the sidewalk and continues north on East 38th Street.
The only hitch, police were waiting.
Hardin was cited for not stopping for the bus.
Her jeep sat parked in the driveway of her Cleveland home. She wasn't feeling up to talking her mother Toni told WEWS-TV. Toni was also in the jeep and said the bus they passed stops to pick up a handicapped child on the street.
"The bus for some reason takes an inordinate amount of time talking to the parent or whatever everyday but he takes forever. While he's doing all that we're waiting trying to get through. Now this morning she was late she was trying to get her daughter to school the reason for going around and going to the side was to give that bus plenty of room."
The bus driver was credited by supervisors for his quick thinking to nab the driver on camera.
