St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) - St. Louis Rams wide receiver Danny Amendola
left Thursday night's game against the Arizona Cardinals in the second quarter
with a shoulder injury.
Amendola suffered the injury while attempting to make a diving grab down the
sideline.
The play was initially called a 22-yard reception, but an Arizona challenge
overturned the call as it showed the ball hit the ground before the receiver
gained full control.
He then angrily threw his helmet at a wall while he was being walked to the
locker room with team trainers.
Amendola had one catch for 44 yards in the contest but is questionable to
return.
The Rams suffered another injury soon after when safety Quintin Mikell was
kneed in the back of the head by his own teammate in a pile.
He looked to be knocked out on the play and did walk off the field under his
own power, but is also listed as questionable to return.
