LARGO, Florida -- An argument over one man's girlfriend led to another man being shot in the hand on Saturday.
According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, 51-year-old Johnny Holdcroft was drinking with neighbors, 45-year-old Alicia Hornak and 47-year-old Tommy "Buzz" Preston, when they allegedly got into a dispute over the amount of attention Holdcroft was giving to Hornak.
Deputies say Preston then threatened Hornak with a loaded gun and shot Holdcroft in the left hand. He reportedly fled the scene after the shooting.
Holdcroft was taken to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Deputies are still searching for Preston. The investigation is ongoing.
