Tieesha Cogdell on trial, accused of wrapping rubber band around dog's snout

Clearwater, Florida -- A jury is seated in the trial for the woman accused of wrapping a rubber band around a dog's snout.

Tieesha Cogdell of Largo faces animal cruelty charges. The dog, named Sox, was rescued in December of 2011 after investigators say he was left alone in the bathroom for weeks.

Sox was nursed back to health and adopted.

Opening statements will begin after lunch.
