FARGO, N.D. (CBS Seattle) - A local man is in jail after stabbing another man who refused to reposition himself during a threesome in which they were both involved.

The Smoking Gun is reporting that 33-year-old Ashley Hunter stabbed 37-year-old Orlando DeWitt in the arm during a sexual encounter the two shared with a woman on Feb. 8.

According to documents obtained by the website, the two men began copulating with the woman after a night of drinking and a brief stop at an area McDonald's restaurant. But as the scenario heated up, the trouble began.

"Hunter ... asked to switch places with Orlando [during the threesome]," according to the report, which was filed by the Fargo Police Department. "Orlando told him no and Hunter became upset."

After exchanging insults and threats, Hunter ordered DeWitt out of the residence. It was at that point that Hunter reportedly obtained a 12-inch butcher knife. DeWitt and the woman, identified as Leticia, attempted to hide from the now-armed Hunter in the bathroom.

However, he was able to break in, the Smoking Gun learned.

DeWitt made a run for it, but as the report notes, when he "went to open the exterior door he felt the knife cutting the back of his left arm" as Hunter stabbed him.

The police were reportedly called to the scene soon after, at which point Hunter was taken into custody.

He was taken to the Cass County Jail, where he is still presently being held in lieu of a $5,000 bail. He will be seen in court on March 13, the website learned.
