(News-Press) -- The parents of a North Port man whose 2008 death remains unsolved will be on the "Dr. Phil" show Monday.
Alex Teehee was 20 when he was hit and killed by a car on July 13.
An arrest was made in the case, but the charges were dropped in 2010 after two key witnesses disappeared.
Ralph Loosman Jr. was arrested in March of 2010 and charged in connection with Teehee's death.
Loosman
was believed to be one of three involved in Teehee's death, according
to reports. Several death threats were made via voicemail against him.
"This
is the latest step in our fight for justice. Especially for the two
young sons who are now growing up without their dad," the family stated
in a release.
Teehee's sister, Jena Thompson, told 10 News in 2011, "Alex Teehee was
murdered. Alex Teehee deserves justice and justice is not being served."
The show airs at 4 p.m. on WTSP 10 News.
