St. Petersburg, Florida -- St. Pete Police are investigating the robbery of a SunTrust bank Monday afternoon.
Police say at the man entered the bank in the 3600 block of 34th Street North around 1:15 p.m. and presented a note to the teller demanding cash. Witnesses say he did not have a weapon.
After fleeing the bank, police say the man may have been picked up by a vehicle just east of the bank.
The suspect is described as a white male, about 30 years of age, 5'6" tall with slender build. He was last seen wearing a blue NY Yankees baseball cap, a black shirt and was carrying a blue and white backpack.
