The heat and humidity are on as highs will reach the low 90s with heat index values close to 100. Afternoon storms will be limited, but we will see a few mainly inland, E of I-75. Like yesterday, one or two of those could be strong and put down heavy amounts of rain. They will be slow movers.
Rain chances remain similar with the heat through Friday. A weak front brings a few showers on Saturday and it brings back the easterly winds. That means more typical afternoon showers and storms that blow back toward the coast each afternoon.
