Kids at the Spa!

Clearwater, Florida - Nine-year-old Chloe Byrnes loves to munch on M&M cookies with chocolate chips. And if those cookies come with a chocolate treat for her feet... even better.

Chloe is enjoying a "milk and cookies" pedicure with her mom. It's a special service Botanica Day Spa in Clearwater offers its younger clients. And according to the director of TampaBayBeauty.com, nationally and in the Tampa Bay area, those clients continue to trend smaller in size.

For Chloe, pampering started at the age of 7, with her first pedicure. But her mom is quick to point out… a day at the spa is something special. It's a reward for getting good grades and helping around the house with her 3 younger siblings.

“I didn't do this when I was a kid. It was more, when you get older and you can pay for your own pedicures, then fine. I probably had my first pedicure when I was 18. But she likes it and I can give it to her, so I do"”

It's also a chance to give Chloe some much-needed one-on-one time with her mom.

And she also gets to feel like a princess whose toes just happen to be painted a pretty 'strawberry margarita' pink.
