Brooksville, Florida - Students at a Brooksville school were on lockdown for some time today.
A gym teacher at Parrott Middle School saw an 8'2'' alligator sunning itself on the basketball courts.
She noticed it while taking roll.
Students were on lockdown while a trapper caught the gator.
