Deltona, Florida - The Department of Defense has announced the death of Spc. Angelo J. Vaccaro of Deltona. The DOD says Vaccaro was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom in Korengal, Afghanistan. He died October 2nd from injuries suffered during combat operations.
Vaccaro was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, New York.
