Boys and girls ages 7 to 13 were chosen to attend the Yankees Youth Baseball Camp by Kids Central, Incorporated. KCI serves Marion, Citrus, Hernando, Lake and Sumter counties.
Crist, Kottkamp and the kids split up to learn baseball basics from some of the most well known atheletes in the game.
Members of the University of South Florida;s baseball team also provided instruction. After honing their baseball skills, the kids lined up to receive autographs from their new favorite players.
