Ruskin, Florida - Students at Ruskin Elementary School spent much of their school day at nearby Cypress Creek Elementary School.

Hillsborough Fire Rescue has burned off propane leaking from a tank at the construction site of the school's new cafeteria. A bulldozer damaged the tank earlier today.

Buses took students to Cypress Creek Elementary children had a normal dismissal at 2:15 p.m. aboard their regular buses.

Students who normally walked home from Ruskin Elementary were taken home from Cypress Creek by bus.

The leak happened when a bulldozer hit and damaged the tank during construction for Ruskin Elementary's new cafeteria.

Construction crews removed one propane tank last week, but workers were not aware there was a second tank on site.

There was an estimated to 160 gallons of propane in the abandoned tank.
