Miami, Florida - Police said there was no evidence that a crime occurred, nothing but prescription drugs in her room, and they will not release the names of the prescriptions. They are looking at the surveillance tapes, investigation is open until all tests are completed.

The medical examiner said she was sick from a stomach flu, a body guard tried to resuscitate her, but she was almost dead when she arrived at the hospital. She was pronounced dead at 2:40 in the afternoon.

Medical Examiner Dr. Joshua Perper said that there were minor bruises on her back from a few days before. He suspects that it may have been either a combination of drugs that killed her, or a combination of natural causes. More tests will be necessary to determine the cause of her death.

Here's the story from the Associated Press:

DANIA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — A medical examiner says more tests will be necessary to determine the cause of Anna Nicole Smith's death. The former playmate and reality TV star was found unconscious yesterday in her hotel room by a private nurse. Police say no illegal drugs were found in the room — just prescription medication.

The doctor who performed the autopsy has excluded any trauma as a cause of death. He says the autopsy revealed only "subtle findings" in the heart and gastrointestinal tract. He also says minor bruises were on her back from a previous fall.

He says Smith had apparently had been sick for several days with some kind of stomach flu.

Paternity Fight

Friday night the paternity fight over Smith's 5 month old daughter continued to develop. Smith's companion, Howard K. .Stern and her former boyfriend, Larry Birkhead, are no longer the only ones claiming to have fathered Smith's young girl.

Prince Frederick Von Anhalt, Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband, says he had a longtime affair with Anna Nichole. He hinted that he may also be the baby's father.
