Crystal River victim says My Space video was humiliating

Inverness, Florida - Thirteen year-old Holly Ireland says, it was the most terrifying night of her life, “I was just really shocked and I didn't know what to do at all.”

Holly was at a birthday sleepover, when two of her friends locked her in a bedroom and started hitting her. We're not mentioning the suspect's names, because they are minors.

Holly's mother gave us permission to talk to her daughter and show video of the abuse, “Heather pushed me down and slapped me said I'm stupid with the B word and sat on my face.

Josephine was slapping me and telling me to hit her back. I was just repeating I'm not going to hit you back I'm not going to fight you this was really pointless.”

In the video, the suspects accuse Holly of cheating on her boyfriend, but she says she doesn't even have a boyfriend and thinks the girls were just trying to get her to fight back, “There's bruises on my shoulder and legs and stuff right here and my back.

Later on when I had fallen asleep they had put itching powder on my face and just started slapping me again.”

Holly says the suspects forced her to watch the video and then posted it to My Space, “Josephine had said that if I were to tell anyone or if word got out she would slit my throat.”

Holly was in shock, because six other girls at the party sat back and watched it all happen. She says none of them reached out to help, not even to get a parent who was in the Inverness house at the time, “I think the mother should have at least checked in.”

Holly was able to get help, after her friend's brother saw the video on My Space and told his mother. That woman then took Holly to safety and called her mother.The two suspects are under house arrest. Holly's relieved the two girls were arrested and says next time she'll be careful of who she befriends.
