Bras into handbags

Spartanburg, North Carolina -- For many women a handbag is a necessary fashion accessory. A South Carolina woman has developed a new line of colorful purses.

The spring handbags are decorated with pretty flowers, feathers, and lace. These bags are made out of bras. This line is called Bravura.

“There's a little key word and that is bra in Bravura, because they are made from bra forms and that's what makes them kind of exciting for women because they are carrying around their little secret.”

The designer says nature and her three daughters inspired her. The bags which can be used for proms or weddings were donated to raise money for an old Spartanburg Mission, The Bethlem Center.
