Port Richey, Florida — Most of us have struggled with our weight from time to time. But for some people, it's a life-long battle they never seem to win. A Bay area woman has found a way to lose weight, and help others who are in the same situation.

Terri Neade, Trying to lose weight:
"I have fought my weight issue my entire life. I was beginning to experience health issues. My back hurt, my knees hurt. It was just ridiculous."

And it was becoming dangerous. Terri Neade's doctor told her that she would only live another ten years if she didn't lose some weight.

So on November 7th of last year, Terri had gastric bypass surgery. So far, she has lost 72 pounds. She tracks every thing she eats, every single day.

But Terri faces a unique problem in her weight loss battle; she's a cruise coordinator who travels a lot. She wasn't sure how she could keep the weight off, when faced with the elaborate buffets on cruise ships.

But then, she really looked at what was offered.

Terri Neade, Trying to lose weight:
"It was like this epiphany, you know? There really are choices, and that's what it's all about, is making the right choices. Choices that are good for you."

Now that she's learned how to navigate her way around cruise ship food, she wants to share her new found knowledge.

Terri is organizing a trip she calls "Cruise to Lose," a trip this September when she can teach her fellow travelers about nutrition and weight loss, for life.

Terri Neade, Trying to lose weight:
"My youngest daughter is expecting her first baby, and I want to be here for my grandbabies. There's just too much life left to live, and to live it in a quality manner."
