St. Petersburg, Florida — Seven strippers and their boss have been arrested following a raid at Vegas Show Girls.
Pinellas sheriff's deputies said six of the women were arrested for nudity-related charges, and one for possessing illegal drugs. Their boss was also arrested for allowing illegal activity at the establishment, they said.
Detectives said the arrests were part of an undercover investigation based on several citizen complaints in the past year about illegal activities at the bar, located on Gandy Boulevard in St. Pete.
Wednesday's raid was the second time in as many months that detectives made arrests at the business. They say they observed on-stage performances that included total nudity.
The manager, Jonathan Bell, 36, was arrested along with exotic dancers:
- Summer Wolf, 28
- Ishtar Geary, 22
- Corinna Shaffer, 22
- Brandy Bing, 20
- Angela Martinez, 19
- Courtney Scott, 22
- Leiska Veldestra, 31
All except Veldestra were charged with one count of nudity in an alcohol establishment. Veldestra was charged with one count each of possession of cocaine, and possession of marijuana.
