Ave Maria, Florida - Today is the first day of classes ever at Ave Maria University.
The new Roman Catholic university is at the center of a new town being developed in southwest Florida.
Ave Maria students are expected to follow some very strict rules. No televisions are allowed in dorm rooms and bikinis are banned, among other restrictions.
The university has largely been funded by Thomas Monaghan, the founder of Domino's Pizza.
