St. Petersburg, Florida - Pinellas County Detective arrested five performers and cited the manager of Vegas Showgirls in St. Petersburg on Gandy Boulevard.

The arrests were made Wednesday night about 6:30 p.m. after authorities say they were responding to complaints of alleged illegal activity.

As part of this investigation, detectives monitored the activity at the business, which led to the arrests of the performers for violations of Pinellas County Ordinance 6-2. Each girl was arrested and charged with one count of nudity in an alcohol establishment.

In addition, one of the performers arrested was also taken into custody on an outstanding warrant for an unrelated drug charge.

The manager, 36-year-old Jonathan Bell of Pinellas Park, was issued a notice to appear in court by detectives for operating an adult use establishment without a license.

This is the third time in six months dancers have been arrested at the club for illegal activity.
