Nick Bollea's friend transferred to VA Hospital

Tampa, Florida -- The Marine who suffered severe head injuries in Nick Bollea's car crash has been transferred to the Haley VA Hospital in Tampa.

George Tragos, the attorney for the mother of John Graziano, said the transfer from Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg occurred this afternoon.

"John is steadily improving," Tragos said. He had no further comment.

A source at the VA Hospital told 10 News Thursday night that Nick Bollea's dad, Hulk Hogan, and several others in his company, were at the VA Hospital this afternoon, apparently when the trasfer took place.

Graziano, 22, was passenger in Nick Bollea's car that crashed in Clearwater August 26th. He had been at Bayfront Medical Center until his transfer.

Nick Bollea was charged in the crash Wednesday and is free on $10,000 bail.
