Tampa, Florida -- The Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus train will arrive in east Tampa on Thanksgiving in time for the elephants to chow down on a brunch at the Florida State Fairgrounds. They will feast on some bread turkeys and fruit along their route before arriving at 10:30 am.
The train arrives at 9:30 am, and the animals will unload at the Uceta railroad tracks on 6th Avenue, just west of Orient Road. They will walk east on 6th Avenue, and then north on Orient Road to their Winter Quarters home at the Florida State Fairgrounds.
You can take photos as the elephants make their way to the Fairgrounds and gobble up their version of traditional Thanksgiving fare which includes elephant-sized turkey-shaped bread, melons, apples and bananas.
