
Looking for a way to impress your friends and family this Holiday Season... give this Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe a try from Christine Najac from Really Good Cookies.
Yields approx. 40 cookies
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 sticks real butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 3 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 - 375 (depending on your oven)
Grease baking sheets.
In large mixing bowl combine sugars, butter, egg and vanilla. Mix on medium speed until light and fluffy. Lower mixer speed; add flour, baking soda, salt and chocolate chips. Combine thoroughly. Scoop batter with medium scoop. Place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes (depending on your oven).
Cool slightly on cookie sheet. Remove from sheet with metal spatula and cool completely on wire rack.
Once completely cooled top with WOW!
WOW! Variations:
Melt chocolate chips in double boiler or in microwave.
(white or semi-sweet, mint, peanut butter or butterscotch)
The melted chocolate is the base to all your WOW! cookies
Top with whatever candies, nuts, or dried fruits you like.
