USF paves the Road to the White House

St. Petersburg, Florida -- A group of students bound for the New Hampshire Presidential Primary gathered today in St. Petersburg. They are preparing for their start as presidential campaign interns.

The internship is part of their class titled: “Road to the White House.” Dr. Judithanne Scourfield McLauchlan teaches the course which gives students a hands-on experience with the first-in-the-nation primary.

Twenty students will be stationed among 11 presidential campaigns in three cities, working as interns during the final days before the January 8th primary.

The students will be blogging about their experience and posting photos and video from the campaign trail.

The internships last 10 days and students will receive 3 credits.
