Bradenton, Florida -- Manatee County Detectives have arrested 22-year-old Michael Heckerman and charged him with murder in connection with the January 15, 2008 shooting of 16-year-old James Holderness.
Heckerman was arrested Sunday night near his residence on Westmore Drive in Manatee County.
Mathew Lambeth was originally charged with shooting Holderness, but more evidence surfaced indicating that Heckerman was the shooter.
The State Attorney's office is dropping the murder charge against Lambeth.
