Largo, Florida ? Police have arrested a convicted child molester on charges he ran a fencing operation for stolen goods from his booth at the Wagon Wheel Flea Market.

Warren Blackstock, 71, faces three counts of dealing in stolen property, one count of unlawful use of a two-way radio and one count of violation of probation from a previous conviction of raping a child under the age of 16.

Largo police said they arrested Blackstock after serving search warrants at his home at 7349 Ulmerton Road and his booth at the Wagon Wheel Flea Market on Park Boulevard.

Sgt. John Trebino said investigators recovered a large quantity of stolen merchandise, including razor blades, toothpaste and shampoo. People came to know they could fence such items through him, he said.

Blackstone was held at the Pinellas County Jail in lieu of $35,000 bond.

Jail records in Polk County show Blackstock was arrested on child molestation charges and state corrections records show he was released in 1999 from the Jacksonville Correctional facility after serving 5 years of a 15 year sentence for sexual battery on a child under the age of 16, and attempted sex battery on a child under the age of 12.
