Tampa, Florida - Deputies arrested Kenyatta Jones early Monday morning in South Tampa.

Tampa Police say club security and uniformed TPD officers at the Blue Martini told Jones to leave after he allegedly tried to urinate on the dance floor.

While escorting Jones out of the club, police say he stopped and turned to go back inside. An officer grabbed the defendant's arm in an attempt to escort him out of the club.

A struggle ensued between Jones and two officers, and Jones was arrested. No injuries were reported.

Jones is facing a list of charges, including battery on a law enforcement officer, obstructing an officer with violence and trespassing.

Jones is an offensive lineman for the Tampa Bay Storm arena football team. He was signed by the Storm in January.

He previously spent three seasons in the NFL between the New England Patriots and Washington Redskins.
