Tampa, FL - Jonathan Scott is an engineer with the city of Tampa who has been riding his bike to work for the last 10 years.

“It feels good,” he explained. “The last thing I want to do is get in a car.”

Nationally, bike sales are skyrocketing as more and more people find an alternative to car commuting.

The owner of Revolution Bicycles in St. Petersburg says he is seeing a double-digit increase in sales from this time last year.

Bill Adler says, “A lot of people are trading in their cars right now. Basically, for the price of a couple of tanks of gas, you can get yourself a bike.”
