You've heard of Facebook, MySpace and other social networking sites. But, one new social site is targeting one big group: the U.S. military.
TroopSpace.net is dedicated to serving the needs of the U.S. military along with their families and loved ones.
Members of the site can upload photos and videos and swap stories with other folks in the United States or anywhere around the world.
TroopSpace CEO Edward Domain left his 6-figure job in San Francisco to run the startup. He says his site provides an easy way for members of the military to keep in contact with people at home. They can also make friends across different military branches through instant messaging, live chat, e-mail and groups.
