St. Petersburg, Florida-- Keeping the promise he made to viewers September 29th, 10 Connects anchor Reggie Roundtree got a RayHawk live on the air Wednesday night before Game 1 of the World Series at Tropicana Field.
"I made a promise and I'm going to keep my word," Roundtree said before the clippers turned on.
Tim the Barber of St. Pete who has cut as many as 500 RayHawks over the past several weeks preformed the honors using a number 2 guard on his clippers.
"I'm going a little conservative on him because he's in the public eye," Tim said among of crowd of Reggie supporters.
The cut only took about 10 minutes and concluded with a coat of blue spray paint along the top of the hawk.
Reg was congratulated by Rays fans as he entered Tropicana Field to watch Game 1.
