Tampa, FL -- Protestors gathered in Ybor City today to keep the flock in Tommy Stephens' yard.
"They love chickens. They were raised around chickens and they wanna come help save the chickens in Ybor City," says Stephens.
Rooster Tommy, as he's known to his neighbors, lead a march down 7th Avenue to fight an ordinance banning the chickens.
He's gathering signatures to encourage Tampa to become chicken friendly like Key West.
The controversy started when he came home and found a trapper in his yard trying to remove his feathered friends.
