Ft. Lauderdale, Florida - More than 1,000 media credentials have been issued to cover the BCS National Championship Game in Miami Thursday.
Hundreds of reporters, from media outlets based as far away as Japan and the Middle East, are already arriving in the Miami area.
Most media members, including the 10 Connects crew, are staying at the Marriott Harbor Resort Beach & Spa in Ft. Lauderdale.
Monday, dozens of media members showed up at Dolphin Stadium for Media Day. Separately, in the morning, both teams arrived for brief interviews on the field.
In the media crowd, there were reporters from ESPN, First Coast News in Jacksonville and even the Los Angeles Times.
There's even a Canadian crew covering the game, according to a BCS spokesperson.
Monday, 10 Connects News This Morning unveiled a new way to use technology, when 10 Connects Reporter Janie Porter filed live reports through the internet-enabled video connection called Skype.
After the newscast ended, she brought viewers on a "virtual tour" of her day, to show how she collects video, conducts interviews, edits her video and sends it back to 10 Connects so that you can watch it on TV!
You can see her behind-the-scenes footage by clicking on the video link to the right of this story.
10 Connects wants to answer your questions about what happens behind-the-scenes when reporters cover stories on the road.
