UPDATE: 2nd Suspect arrested in teen shooting

Bradenton, Florida -- UPDATE: Frank Brice turned himself in earlier this morning. He is currently being charged with murder according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

Earlier Story:

One teenager is under arrest and another is still being sought in the shooting death of a 17-year-old girl after a fight broke out at the Royal Palm Theater off of U.S. 301 around 2 a.m. Monday.

Manatee County sheriff's deputies told 10 News 17-year-old Teria'le Rawls was shot at the theater after a fight broke out. Deputies identified two men wanted in connection with the shooting: Jasper Dudley, and Frank Brice, both 19 years old. Dudley is under arrest on Monday night.

Keith Miller works right around the corner from where deputies say they found Rawls dead in a car. He says his heart goes out to her family.

"It's a parent's nightmare. No parent wants to wake up and get that call first thing in the morning about their 17-year-old kid," Miller said.

He says he saw Rawls after she had been taken out of the vehicle, a white sheet over her body.

Crime scene investigators were at the movie theater dusting a BMW for fingerprints when 10 News got to the scene.

"It went straight to my heart. I had to cry, myself, when I heard about it," Miller said.

Rawls was discovered five miles south in a car near the intersection of U.S. 301 and University Parkway. Deputies say the driver of that car was trying to get her to the hospital before the car was pulled over.

The Royal Palm Theater has a history of violence. A near-riot with a crowd of 300 people breaking out on Christmas night of 2010.

Deputies even had to stun one person during the struggle.

But for Miller, "My kids are that age, and I can't imagine having to wake up and go through that this morning."

He says he'll be holding his own kids close to his heart tonight.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Dudley and Brice, is asked to call 941-747-3011 ext. 2547 or Crime Stoppers at 866-634-TIPS.
