USF restores power at Tampa campus

Many buildings at the University of South Florida in Tampa were without power Friday morning, but electricity was restored 11:43 a.m.

About 11 a.m., USF tweeted that several areas have had power restored. An equipment failure was blamed.

Research Park and a dozen other buildings were without electricity.

Classes have not been canceled.
