St. Petersburg, Fl – Feel like taking a walk on the wild side? The Rattlesnake Festival in San Antonio is going on from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in City Park. There are snake talks and demonstrations, live music, arts and crafts, and gopher races. All this is put on by the Rotary Club there to help support local charities. The festival is celebrating its 50th year.
If snakes aren't your thing--how about dinosaurs? Jurassic Quest is going on at the Florida State Fairgrounds. You can walk among 50 life-sized dinosaurs. Watch out! They move!
If that's a bit scary and high-tech, you can have some old-fashioned fun at the Pumpkin Festival at Hunsader Farms. That's in Manatee county. Enjoy live music, hayrides, and there's also a corn maze to get lost in.
And if you just want to relax and hear some great music, it's the last day for the Clearwater Jazz Holiday in Coachman Park. Music starts at 2:00 p.m. and the headliner tonight is Guitar Goddess Grace Potter.
