Vigil to be held for plane crash victims and families

Safety Harbor, Florida -- A community vigil will be held Wednesday night for the victims involved in the plane crash on McMullen Booth Road in Safety Harbor over the weekend and their families.

The vigil, posted on Facebook, will be held at John Wilson Park Gazebo on Main Street at 7:30 p.m. The event is being hosted by Janet Stinson.

Stinson says participants should bring a flashlight and a scarf to use.

The Facebook event reads:

Shine your flashlight to light as the sun sets and our hearts join in unity. We will pause to remember Jeffrey Bronken, who was killed in the crash. Let's send healing energy and light to Katie Bronken and Keyana Limbo, both 15, who are hospitalized.

We will build a collective heart of scarves as a gesture of our support for the families. Please spread the word as we show the families that all of us in Safety Harbor care about them.

The event is only expected to last 30 minutes.
