Woman arrested for bomb threats against retail stores

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. -- A New Port Richey woman who was investigated for shoplifting at a Bealls Department Store also called in a bomb threat.

Pasco County Sheriff's Office said that Annieve Watson, 44, made two more threats against A Publix Supermarket at 3100 Little Road on November 14 and Jo-Ann Fabrics at 10057 U.S. Highway 19 on November 16.

Deputies said that Watson called in the bomb threat as they were investigating a retail theft at the Bealls at 3100 Little Road in New Port Richey. A witness said that Watson was the alleged shoplifting suspect.

When deputies located and questioned Watson, she admitted to making the bomb threats via her cell phone at the two other locations.
