Woman who took video of alleged cruelty by dog groomer is out of work

She took a video of a woman apparently mishandling a dog. Now she is unemployed at her new job.

SARASOTA, Fla. -- A dog groomer who took a video of a co-worker who was allegedly mistreating a dog is out of a job ... again.

Briana Brady says she was let go from her most recent job, and she believes it's because of the attention she got from the video.

While Brady worked at The Happy Puppy Pet Spa on Shamrock Road, she took video of groomer and shop owner Phyllis Lucca’s behavior holding a dog by the neck and forcing it down onto a table.

She posted the video on Facebook, where it was shared thousands of times.

The State Attorney’s Office is considering animal cruelty charges against Lucca.

Brady had since gotten a new job, but she says she was let go.

A Gofundme account has been set up for Brady.
