Magic raise banner dedicated to Orlando nightclub shooting victims before opener

Ahead of the Magic’s season opener on Wednesday, the arena had a moment of silence and raised a banner for the victims of the tragic shooting that happened at an Orlando nightclub on June 12.

Prior to the game, the Magic announced that the night would be dedicated to the victims. There will also be a special video that’s played, and here’s more on the banner and the night, per NBA.com:

The Magic also will host survivors, family members and Pulse employees. The team is also raising a “49” banner in the arena, and the banner will be filled with the name of the victims who were killed that night.
