Men who "cannonballed" manatees get community service

Tampa, Florida -- The two men who "cannonballed" onto a manatee and her calf in 2012 have been sentenced to probation and community service.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Taylor Martin and Seth Andrew must serve 175 hours of community service. The two potentially faced a year in federal prison after spraying water from a hose toward the drifting manatees, and leaping off the dock onto the backs of the sea cows.
