Metropolis, IL - It's a bird. It's a plane. It's Superman! Or in the case of one Illinois town, it's the annual Superman Celebration.
On Sunday, more than 50 people donned their finest superhero gear -- for the chance at win a $1,000 one-thousand dollar grand prize.
Each contestant had a chance to strut their stuff for the judges.
There were six categories up for grab, including Best Superman or Clark Kent, Best Hero, and Best Villain.
