Milford Township, OH - The Butler County Sheriff's Department says a wasp is to blame for a crash that left four adults and two juveniles hurt in Milford Township on Thursday morning (07/05).
Deputies say a woman was driving east in the 4000 block of Trenton-Oxford Road just before 11 a.m. A wasp landed on her arm and in her attempts to brush the insect away, deputies said she lost control of her car.
She ended up going left of the center line, right into the path of two oncoming vehicles.
Four adults and two juveniles were hurt in the pileup. Three medical helicopters were called to the scene to take the adults to University Hospital. The two juveniles were taken by ambulance to McCullough-Hyde Hospital in Oxford.
