The teen was transported to an area hospital where she later died. She was a senior at the school. The school made counselors available on campus for students to talk to.

Ashley had a bright future ahead. She loved fashion and modeling; but most of all, she loved her family. A video was taken just two days ago where you see Ashley with her brother and mom.

10News reporter Jennifer Titus talked to Perdomo's mother who had an urgent plea for anyone with information about this incident to contact authorities.

“We want justice. Who[ever] killed her needs to pay. We want justice. He left her lying there like a dog,” says Mercedes Concepción, Ashley’s mother.

“She’s my only sister and I don’t have her anymore,” says Bryant Perdomo, Ashley’s brother.

At the site where Ashley was killed, those who knew her stopped by to remember the bubbly dancer.

“Turn yourself in. You took the only happiness we had in my household. You took my only sister,” says Bryant Perdomo.

They can only hope now that justice will be served.

“I love my daughter. Come back,” says Concepcion.

Florida Highway Patrol are asking anyone that may have witnessed this tragedy or may have information on the suspect vehicle to give them a call.

A GoFundMe page has also been set up for Ashley’s funeral costs.

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the unknown suspect involved in this case.  Anyone with any information regarding the identity of the suspect and who wants to be eligible for a cash reward is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477)
