Fun events for Sunday, September 11

St. Petersburg, Fla. – This might just float your boat today. The Tampa Boat Show is going on at the Tampa Convention Center. Hundreds of boats are on display there-- both inside and also on the water. Experts say this is a great way to compare models and prices. There are also classes and seminars. The hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The Florida Holocaust Museum is marking its 25th anniversary with a magic show at the Palladium Theater in St. Petersburg. Oz Pearlman puts on a spectacular show. He is the grandson of Holocaust survivors.  Proceeds from the 2:30 p.m. show benefit the museum's educational programs.

And finally, here's something a little different. If you hate Karaoke, but love to sing-- especially the ol' time tunes—there’s a Community Sing in Weeki Wachee this evening. It's at the Heather Clubhouse at 9100 Nakoma Way from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. For more information, call Andy LePage at 727-517-1148.
