ViVa Tampa Bay celebrates Hispanic Heritage

Festival celebrates Hispanic heritage

National Hispanic Heritage Month runs from September 15th through October 15th and ViVa Tampa Bay is a great way to kick things off. The celebration in Ybor City on September 18th is back for its second year and organizers say it will be bigger and better.

“You can enjoy feet-stomping music, tons of vendors—business vendors, food vendors, cultural vendors—you can come and enjoy that,” says Arlene Marie of All American Music.

And along with all the fun, the festival will also honor outstanding Hispanic citizens—among the award recipients are local law enforcement officers, a military veteran, a USF professor, and a Hillsborough County school teacher.

The festival takes place in Centennial Park from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
