Deputy arrested over emaciated miniature horses

Hillsborough Deputy Pamela Belo was arrested after two miniature horses in her care were found to be severely malnourished. One of the animals later died. The second horse is expected to recover.

Belo is charged with one count of felony animal cruelty and one count of misdemeanor animal cruelty.
